Boat Launch at Malibu Beach is closed for the year

Enough is enough.

Thanks to large groups of beachgoers gathering, not practicing social distancing, mask wearing, and general whooping it up, the boat launch at Malibu Beach has been closed by Department of Conservation and Recreation.

According to the Dorchester Reporter, a concrete barrier was placed on the beach to stop vehicles from entering that launching spot on September 11th and will remain through the end of the year.  Basically, it was becoming a public safety issue.
