Back in September, an electrical short circuit started a fire causing Blasi’s to close its doors and the neighborhood has felt the void. (We miss you honey hots and eggplant rollatini!)
We’re happy to report that Blasi’s currently has the building permits in place and the dumpster has been dropped off for a complete renovation!
In the meantime, you can have little bit of old school Blasi’s in your home! They are selling the legendary green chairs with maroon padding! $10 a piece – there are 80 in total.
Did you know?
Did you know Blasi’s was once a hardware store? On September 23rd 1997, brothers Kenny Blasi and Joe Blasi laid the foundation to transform the building into a restaurant. After decades of being a figure in the community, 20 years later to the day, another fire happened causing Blasi’s to close this fall.
