Bald Eagle Spotted in Dorchester on Friday

Did you see it?
A bald eagle was spotted in Dorchester on Friday morning at Train and Westglow streets. Yes, it’s a little unusual to see the majestic bird in the city, but they have been seen before. This one was chilling in a tree top.
According to MassWildlife, Massachusetts has a thriving bald eagle population, so it’s not uncommon to see one in Boston.
Grab some binoculars and go bird watching! Be on the lookout in trees, in the sky, and sometimes along the water. When flying, the bald eagle rarely flaps its wings, instead soaring with its wings almost completely flat. Its hooked bill, legs, and feet are yellow.
Let us know if you saw the bald eagle!

Yes, my co-worker saw it. It flew outside our office window at work at the VA Medical Center. We waited to see if it would come by again but it moved on.
