At about 9:24 PM on Thursday, December 27, 2018, officers assigned to District C-6 (South Boston) responded to a radio call for a robbery in the area of Boston Street and Howell Street in Dorchester. On arrival, officers spoke to the victim who stated he had been assaulted and robbed by a group of males and a female. The victim provided a description of the suspects and their direction of flight. Officers located a group who matched the description of the suspects. The members of the group dispersed and immediately fled to the rear of 782 Dorchester Avenue upon seeing officers. Officers were able to apprehend one of the males who was identified as the suspect who had assaulted the victim and stole his belongings. Officers recovered the victim’s property as well as a black 9 mm Ruger loaded with four rounds of live ammunition.
Officers arrested Hector Juarbe, 18 years old, of Roxbury and charged him with Armed Robbery, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, and Unlawful Possession of Ammunition.
