Boston Herald is reporting that police have arrested the 34-year-old man that shot and killed a 13-year-old last week — in addition, he’s also been charged with federal fentanyl dealing.
Csean Alexander Skerritt is in custody, charged with the killing of the teenager, Tyler Lawrence, in Mattapan.
According to the article, District Attorney Kevin Hayden, Police Commissioner Michael Cox and others declined to say what led to a 34-year-old man intentionally shooting a child.
Skerritt is in federal custody after the FBI captured him in a Sunday raid on Colombia Road on a separate set of charges of selling 55 grams of fentanyl. Skerritt will be arraigned soon and more details, including the murder of Lawrence, should be revealed.
