A woman told WCVB-TV that she heard crying coming from a trash barrel when she was walking down Dot Ave. An EMT was in the area and retrieved a plastic bag from the trash, cutting the bag open and a newborn was found inside.
According to WCVB, the mother was located in Milton and taken to a hospital by ambulance.
