A new business could be coming to Adams Street. The former Cedar Grove Gardens property at 911 Adams Street is being proposed as a nail salon.

The Mayor’s Office is hosting a virtual abutters meeting on Monday, March 30, at 6 p.m. on Zoom to hear from neighbors about the plan.

The longtime garden center closed back in January 2024, and the site has been quiet ever since. New plans show the existing building remaining, with salon renovations, plus a small parking area with up to 9 spaces.

Cedar Grove Garden has opened a new location at at 1973 Dorchester Ave.
