International Picnic Day

International Picnic Day falls on Friday, June 18th so take advantage of the half-priced ferry tickets on Friday to Spectacle Island! If you’re gonna be spending the day on the island, might as well bring a picnic to celebrate, right? American Provisions has delicious sandwiches, hummus & crackers, salsa & chips, and more!  You can check out their menu here! Also on Fridays at Spectacle Island, you’ll receive a free kite as you board the ferry.  Kites are limited to one per group or family and takes place each Friday through September 3rd while supplies last.  Tickets for Friday service to the Islands will be 50 percent off through June 25.

Skate Fit Boston Fitness Boot Camp

Get your roller skates ready! Starting this weekend, Skate Fit Boston is hosting a roller skating fitness bootcamp on Saturdays and Sundays – Beginners – 10:30am-11:30am and Intermediate/Advance from 12pm-1pm at Moakley Park! $20 per class and must be 18+. Follow them on Instagram for details! 

DAP Juneteenth Paint Party

On Saturday, June 19th, Dorchester Art Project is hosting a Juneteenth Paint Party from 3:30pm-6pm. Celebrate with DAP as local artists guide you through step-by-step instructions to create a beautiful canvas painting that celebrates Freedom. Tickets are only $20. You can purchase more here!

Juneteenth at Nightingale Community Garden
