Lace up your sneakers and run the John P. McKeon Post Father’s Day 5K on Sunday, June 16th at 10am. You can register online here! The first 250 registered receives a t-shirt!

Let’s Get Ready to Rumble

Beantown USA proudly present Chaos for Kids UFO Charity Wrestling Event! On Saturday, June 15th from 12:30pm-4pm head to Beantown Athletics Parking Lot (132 Granite Ave.) for a day long event of wrestling matches. Your Master of Ceremonies is Danny Picard. Free Admission There will be food, a 50/50 raffle and lots of wrestle. All money raised will support youth programming at the Leahy Holloran Community Center!

Take a Tour

The Dorchester Historical Society is offering tours of the Lemuel Clap House from 11am-4pm on Saturdays in the summer.  Take a look at the recently completed preservation projects and some new exhibits.

Martin’s Park Opening Celebration

Martin’s Park, located next to the Children’s Museum in South Boston, is named for Martin Richard – the youngest victim of the Boston Marathon bombings – and will officially open to the public on Saturday, June 15th. Mayor Marty Walsh, Governor Charlie Baker and the Richard family will be in attendance for the official ceremony at 11am. Stop by and check out this impressive and much anticipated park! Program to begin at 11am. Official opening to include festival of live entertainment, food trucks and family-friendly programming throughout the day! We can’t wait!
