The Dorchester home where Mark and Donnie Wahlberg’s family grew up was damaged by fire Sunday.

The six-alarm blaze started at 25 Peverell St. around 10:30am and then quickly spread to three other homes.

The wind added to the fire spreading to six alarms. BFD eventually knocked down the fire.  It is estimated that the fire caused $2M in damage. 15 residents have been displaced.

    Maureen please feel free to reach out to me if there’s anyway that I can help the families. My family suffered a house fire in Hingham this July and we now have a fund dedicated to helping first responders and families affected by fire. I am praying for the families and all firefighters first responders on scene.
