Important Election Day and Voting Info.

The Boston Election Department is reminding voters that the Municipal Election will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2023. The election will determine At-Large and District City Councilors for the City of Boston. You can get the details on early voting, vote by mail and in-person voting here. 

Halloween Block Party

Auriga Street and Westglow from Adams to Train streets will be closed on Tuesday, October 31st from 5:30pm-8pm for Trick or Treating! Here’s an interactive map of more Halloween Block Parties in the city!

The Return of the Yurts at the Bowery Bar

The Bowery Bar has announced the adorable outdoor winter village on their patio is back for another season starting Saturday, November 4th.  Get cozy inside one of their three yurts – complete with outdoor heaters, blankets, and furry seats on both low-top and high-top seating! Bookings are now live on their website!  Each yurt holds about eight people and is available for lunch, brunch and dinner!  Winter attire is encouraged.

Henderson Inclusion Lower School Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

On Thursday join professional calligrapher Jen McCarthy ( @letterbcalligraphy) to learn the beautiful and relaxing art of brush pen calligraphy.

This workshop is for beginners and no experience is necessary. All materials will be provided so at the end of the workshop, you will have all the tools you need to continue on your calligraphy journey! You can register here!
