Morrissey Blvd Traffic Advisory
On Tuesday, October 15, 2024, and Wednesday, October 16, 2024, the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) will close the road outside of 55 Morrissey Boulevard (southbound) in the City of Boston from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. to accommodate work in the manhole. Traffic patterns will be clearly marked, and police details will be onsite.

Fields Corner Branch of BPL will close this month for a $30M renovation
The Fields Corner branch of the Boston Public Library is scheduled to close on Friday, October 25, to make way for the demolition of the existing building at Dorchester Avenue and Park Street. The $30 million project to replace the branch is expected to be completed in 2026. In preparation for the closure, museum passes, book holds, and other items will be transferred to the Adams Street branch at 690 Adams Street, Dorchester, MA 02122.
