Giveback Bash at The LOT
Head over to The LOT, 383 Dorchester Ave., this Veterans Day from 12-4PM! This event will be full of giving back to those who served as well as our organizations in the neighborhood. Local nonprofits will be in attendance collecting donations, letter writing to the troops will be available, and activities for kids! Stop by and have some fun with games, food, live music, and even free train rides for kids. Donations needed include white athletic socks, diapers/wipes, and jackets/clothing for all ages. Election Day- November 7th
Tuesday is election day for the municipal elections in Boston. Polling locations open at 7:00 a.m. and close at 8:00 p.m. The election will determine At-Large and District City Councilors for the City of Boston. Get more info on the election and where to vote here. Do your civic duty and vote!
Grove Hall Community Center Meeting
Please join Boston Centers for Youth & Families, the City of Boston’s Public Facilities Department and the Mayor’s Office of Neighborhood Services for the first community meeting to explore options for the design of a new community center in the Grove Hall section of Dorchester.
