Spend a Night Under the Stars on Spectacle Island

Meet Two Local Authors at the Eire Pub
Two authors with Dorchester roots are coming together for an evening of stories, conversation, and book signings at the Eire Pub on Thursday, July 30th, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tom McKenna, author of Up & Down with JoJo Brown and Other Humorous Catastrophes, and Mary Dyer, author of Dyer Straits: All Those Years Ago in Dorchester, MA, will meet readers, sign books, and share memories of growing up in Dorchester. Guests are invited to stop by, chat with the authors, pick up signed copies, and reminisce about the neighborhood that inspired their writing. Stop by and show your support!

The Boston Waterfront 5K is back on Saturday, September 12th, with a brand-new course and the same scenic waterfront views runners have come to love. Hosted by The McCourt Foundation, the annual race begins and ends at Leader Bank Pavilion and features a fresh route through the Seaport and along the waterfront.
