Winter Tết Market
Winter Tết Market is happening this year at a NEW location. Organizers needed a space that fits the energy, the people, and everything the community is building together! The new location is Dot Tire- 1160 Dorchester Avenue. The event takes place: Sat 1/31/26 (4:00–9:00 PM)

Yin Yoga + Sound Bath Workshop at Open Doors
Open Doors Dorchester Yin Yoga and Sound Bath Workshop with Courtney, Carolyn, and Amy is back! The Yin class will be a call to pause in January and takes place on Sunday, January 25th from 6:30pm-8pm. Settle into deep stillness with this extended Yin practice designed to unwind layers of tension in the body and mind. You’ll move through long-held, floor-based postures to gently open the connective tissues and calm the nervous system. The class will be accompanied by a soothing sound bath—inviting deep rest, balance, and renewal. Aromatherapy to support healthy lungs and all props will be provided. Cost is $50. Winter Bird Stroll at Castle Island
Calling all bird lovers! Take a winter bird stroll at Castle Island with Nature Man Mike on Sunday, January 25th from 8:30am-10:30am. Winter is a great time to see various migratory waterfowl at Castle Island. It’s one of Mike’s favortie spots for winter birding in Boston! Expect to walk up to 2 miles on paved paths. Dress warm. It can be very cold and windy during this time. This event is accessible. Porta potties are available. Limited loaner binoculars will be available on a first come, first served basis. This is a free event, but registration is required. You can register here.
Roots to Rise event at Comfort Kitchen
Join Comfort Kitchen for Roots to Rise, an anniversary dinner honoring the past, celebrating the present, and looking toward what’s ahead ❤️ This year, the evening will unfold as a regular dinner service rather than a ticketed event, with a few thoughtful surprises along the way. To thank the community, they are offering 25% off all food for the night (drinks not included).
