Boston Public Schools will be closed on Monday, February 23. All municipal buildings will be closed on Monday. Residents are encouraged to stay home. If travel is necessary, please use public transportation. Mayor Michelle Wu also declared a snow emergency ahead of the forecasted winter storm. Residents are advised that the snow emergency and parking ban will take effect starting at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday.  Get all the important info and details here. 

Return of The Ice Creamsmith

For over 40 years, The Ice Creamsmith in Lower Mills has been churning out delicious made-from-scratch ice cream!  Making their ice cream in small batches on-site – (it goes from production to scoop in as little as 24 hours), the Ice Creamsmith has been delighting generations with their sweet treats!  It will open for its 49th season on March 1st!

Knit a Stuffed Animal at Stitch House

Knitted Animals has returned with Maureen at Stitch House! This special class brings Moe’s talent to you – and she will share her special gift of knitting these beautiful knit animals that are the most perfect gifts! This series is designed for knitters who have basic knitting skills. $80 for this 4 week session on Saturdays 2-4pm. It’s a rolling start. A great knitting book is included ($25 retail) in the cost of the class. You can select between Knitted Animal Friends or Wild Animal Friends. Sullivan’s Opens this Week!
