Help the McLaughlin Family

Last week, the McLaughlin family home on Rockne Ave in St. Brendan’s Parish was destroyed by a fire.  Brian, Maureen, and their three children, Billy, Bridget, and Desi, lost everything in the fire.  Friends have created a GoFundMe page to help this Dorchester family, especially with Christmas coming this week.

Prepare to Recycle those Christmas Trees

Recycle those dried-out Christmas trees this week! The City of Boston will be collecting them for the first two full weeks in January! Place trees at the curb by 6am on trash day. No decorations, bags, stands or lights on the tree. The tree will be shredded up to be used as compost. The compost will be distributed in various Boston parks o help new things grow! Sing for slice

From now through Christmas Eve, when you walk through the door of Pantry Pizza singing “Jingle Bells,” you’ll get a free slice of cheese!  Only one slice per person, and Pantry Pizza would love to record and tag you, too! Why not right?
