BFD responded to a four alarm fire at 41 Mount Everett Street that displaced 20 residents. Around 1:30pm, the fire broke out and flames could be seen from the rear porches of 39 and 41 Mount Everett Street. The porches later collapsed. The fire was officially knocked down by 3am.
Two, three family buildings have approximately $1 million in damages.
NBC10 Boston was reporting the neighbors believe that fireworks are to blame for the fire.
