BFD responded to a call for a fire at 66 Floyd Street. Heavy fire was showing and a 2nd alarm was ordered. A 3rd alarm was quickly ordered for this two-and-a-half wooden home and all firefighters were ordered off of the roof.
Firefighters used a deck gun to help control the fire from spreading to the buildings next door. Fire was eventually knocked down and major overhauling is taking place.
Five adults and one child have been safely evacuated and are currently displaced.
Thanks BFD for keeping us safe!
