Universal Hub is reporting that a Dorchester woman and a man from Stoughton were arrested on charges they robbed letter carriers in Hyde Park.
Myesha Lewis, 21, of Dorchester, and Kenneth Demosthene, 22, of Stoughton, could face potential maximum sentences of more than 30 years in federal prison if convicted on charges of robbing postal carriers and assaulting them. Yikes.
There were more than a dozen robberies of letter carriers since July of last year -including two that Lewis and Demosthen were involved in. Basically they would steal the “Arrow” keys, which letter carriers use to open mailboxes and then steal checks.
