2-Alarm Fire in Dorchester on Early Sunday Morning

BFD battled heavy fire early Sunday morning at a three-family home in Dorchester.
Around 2:15 am, BFD responded to a call to 667 Adams Street, where heavy fire was showing in the rear of the building. A second alarm was ordered.
Despite the bitter cold, crews quickly knocked down the fire and contained it to the rear porches and the exterior of the structure. One firefighter was transported to an area hospital for evaluation. No residents were displaced by the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
