BFD responded to call around 5:25pm on Saturday for smoke showing at 74 Corona Street in Dorchester. Fire could be seen on the first and second floor rear porches and extending inside the building. A second alarm was ordered.
Fire was quickly knocked down. Seven adults and two children are displaced. The Red Cross is helping with housing. Damages estimated at $200,000. No injuries to report. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
