On Tuesday, April 7th at 5:20 p.m., BPD responded to a report of a person stabbed near 96 Milton Ave. in Mattapan. Upon arrival, officers found a girl who had a minor laceration on her hand.

At about 5:20 PM on Tuesday April 7, 2020, officers assigned to District B-3 (Mattapan) arrested a 15-year-old male from Dorchester after responding to a call for a person stabbed in the area of 96 Milton Avenue in Mattapan. On arrival, officers located a juvenile female victim suffering from a minor laceration to the hand. The victim stated that she had been approached by the suspect who took her purse during a verbal argument.
When the victim attempted to get her property back, the suspect pulled out a knife and stabbed her in the hand before fleeing the area on foot. Officers spoke with numerous witnesses and soon located the suspect in the area of 64 Stockton Street where he was placed in custody without incident. Officers were able to recover the victim’s property during their investigation. The suspect will appear in Dorchester Juvenile Court on charges of Delinquent to Wit: Armed Robbery and Assault and Battery by Means of a Dangerous Weapon.
