Live Boston is reporting that on Friday morning around 11:15am, BPD responded to a ShotSpotter activation on Alpha Road, in Dorchester. A vehicle was found with ballistic damage plus shell casings on the ground. No victim could be located.
Roughly an hour after the scene had been cleared, a 14-year-old girl showed up at the Carney Hospital with a gunshot wound to the arm. She was treated for non-life-threatening injuries and is expected to make a full recovery. At this time there have been no arrests in connection to the incident and no suspects at this time.
