If you’ve ever had a Long Island Iced Tea, you know they pack a wallop! It’s made with vodka, rum, gin, tequila, triple sec, our mix and a splash of coke. At one point in my life, I actually believed that it was against the law in Massachusetts to be served more than two in one visit at a bar. Not sure if that’s actually law or just really good advice. So when I read that Applebee’s is offering $1 Long Island Iced Teas, I thought that doesn’t seem like a good idea. Applebee’s also offered $1 Margaritas during the month of October.
“The Dollar drink is back at Applebee’s just in time for the holidays, and this time, folks can enjoy a $1 Long Island Iced Tea,” said Applebee’s executive Patrick Kirk in a press release. “The Dollar L.I.T. is kind to your pocket book and a great drink to share with old friends and new ones this holiday season.”
More like great drink to share if you want to end up in a fight with old friends, crying and possibly throwing up in the parking lot.
The “Dollar L.I.T.” is available every day, all month long at participating restaurants nationwide. Great news South Bay’s Applebee’s will be participating! Things are about to get L.I.T.!
