Join me on Sunday March 13th at noon for a charity ride and donor drive for Delete Blood Cancer at The Handle Bar in South Boston!
Every three minutes someone is diagnosed with blood cancer and you could save someone’s life by registering as a bone marrow donor. I had the opportunity to help someone in need when I was contacted in late 2015 as a match for an individual fighting blood cancer. The experience is something I will never forget. My goal now is to get as many people on the registry as possible in the hopes that someone else can find their match. There could be someone out there looking for you!
I will lead a 45 minute charity ride (all levels welcome!) followed by a donor drive in the studio. A representative from Delete Blood Cancer will be present to answer any questions and assist with registration. It would be amazing to get at least 25 people to register as donors after the class, however registering as a donor is NOT required to participate in the class.
Additionally if you do not want to ride and you are interested in registering as a donor, please come by the studio between 12:15 and 1:15pm.
