Savin Bar + Kitchen and Ghost Pepper Taqueria to Get New Owner

Some changes are coming to Savin Hill, but don’t worry, your favorite neighborhood spots are staying the same.
According to Universal Hub, Savin Bar + Kitchen and neighboring Ghost Pepper Taqueria on Savin Hill Avenue are expected to get a new owner.
Current owners Driscoll DoCanto and Ken Osherow are looking to sell both establishments to Brendan Griffin, a local resident with 20 years of experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry. Griffin has worked at the Lenox Hotel in Back Bay, Union Bar and Grill in the South End, and most recently, the Cambria Somerville Hotel.
The good news for regulars? Griffin says he has no plans to change the names, operations, or hours of either restaurant.
The sale is pending approval from the Boston Licensing Board.
