Man bitten by pit bull on Red Line early this week.
A man was bitten by a pit bull at the Quincy Center MBTA station on Thursday, August 13th, according to Transit Police.
The incident happened around 5 p.m. Police said the bite broke the victim’s skin, and he was treated by EMS.
The dog’s handler reportedly left the scene despite being asked to stay. Transit Police are investigating and believe the dog owner may be known to officers.
