Two people were taken to the hospital Sunday evening following a shooting in Dorchester

According to Boston 25 News, Boston Police responded to the area of Kingsdale Street around 6:40 p.m. after reports of gunfire. A woman was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, while a man was also taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The shooting comes less than 24 hours after another double shooting that happened at 2:06 a.m. on Geneva Street.

No arrests have been announced, and the investigation remains ongoing.
