BPD Community Alert: Detectives Seek to Identify Individual Following Breaking & Entering Incident in Dorchester

Detectives assigned to District B-2 (Dorchester) are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the individual pictured in connection with a breaking and entering incident that occurred at approximately 6:05 PM on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 530 Columbia Road in Dorchester.
Preliminary investigation indicates that a male suspect entered through the door and stole multiple tools and related items from the location. The suspect is described as a Black male with short hair, wearing a white and black striped shirt and black pants.
Officers believe the suspect stole several items including a Craftsman drill, a DeWalt impact drill, a vacuum, a rain jacket, an electrical meter, and batteries and chargers for the DeWalt drill.
Detectives assigned to District B-2 are actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is strongly urged to contact District B-2 Detectives at (617) 343-4275.
