2 alarm fire in Dorchester

BFD responded to call for a fire at 1063 Washington Street around 6pm on Friday. First companies arrived to heavy smoke showing and a second alarm was struck.
The building was under construction and unoccupied. Firefighters battled through heavy and thick smoke and eventually companies were able successfully knocked down the fire.
BFD-FIU were on scene to investigate cause of fire.
