Way to go!
Thousands or participants gathered at Town Field Park to take part in the Mother’s Day Walk for Peace on Sunday. The annual fundraiser helps raise awareness and support for the Louis D. Brown Peace Institute, an organization that focuses on healing, teaching, and learning for families and communities impacted by murder, trauma, grief, and loss.
The peace walk ended with a rally in Fields Corner. This neighborhood tradition is 26-year-old and has raised more than $430,000 for the Louis D Brown Peace Institute.
You can still make a donation to help them raise their goal of $600,000! Visit here!
