Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Pope John Paul II Playground

A special ribbon cutting ceremony for Pope John Paul II Playground on Thursday, August 12th at 10am (TIME CHANGE – Originally 2:30pm) presented by the Department of Conservation and Recreation.
Once a landfill, Pope John Paul II Park offers picnicking, trails, athletic fields, and more. This is also a good place to look for birds and wildlife, which have also benefited from the restoration. The new playground will be a welcomed addition!
