On Thursday, the Mass. Department of Public Health announced that 20 beaches are closed due to excess levels of bacteria in the water or other contaminants.  Two of those beaches are in Dorchester, Malibu Beach and Tenean Beach.

Earlier this week, Save the Harbor/Save the Bay released their 2023 Beach Season Water Quality Report Card and these beaches were low on the list. You can check out that list here.
