It started off as a rumor but according to the Daily Faceoff, it’s a done deal! The US. Labor Secretary and Dorchester native Marty Walsh is officially going to the NHL Players Association Union as the executive director. You can read more about it here!

Politico is reporting that U.S. Labor Secretary, former Boston Mayor and Dorchester native Marty Walsh is being considered for running the National Hockey League Players Association.
Walsh is believed to be a strong contender but nothing has been etched in stone yet. Walsh himself has declined to comment on the rumors!
Just a few weeks ago, there was another rumor that Walsh was on the shortlist to become White House Chief of Staff. That did not come to fruition.
We shall see.
