Lower Mills Holiday Stroll & Tree Lighting

Come and celebrate the season in Lower Mills. #shopsmall #shoplocal The Holiday Tree Lighting, part of the Mayor’s Holiday Trolley Tour, at Meetinghouse Bank at 6 PM!  Holiday Stroll will take place on Saturday, November 30th.

St. Mark’s Village Small Business Stroll

November 30th is Small Business Saturday! tart your day shopping and brunching with the old and the new in your Greater Ashmont Main Street district, north of Shepton Street (St. Mark’s Village), with many of our small retail businesses & retail shops, including Crawford Drug, Tasha Michelle Kloset, The Modern Dog Boston, Dareales Clothing, I Am Fashion men’s boutique, El Barrio Mexican Grill, Dimitrios House of Pizza, All Star Barbershop, Daumos Boutique & Atelier, and Caffe Zia Gianna. Holiday Pop Up Market at Ashmont Station and Peabody Square Tree Lighting

Join friends and neighbors as we gather, with an assist from the City of Boston Public Works Department, to light the holiday tree in Peabody Square! The ceremony will happen at the conclusion of the Greater Ashmont Holiday Pop Up Market, and our market musicians will be able to accompany us for some festive caroling before the countdown. We will have treats to share from Ashmont Grill and Dunkin’, plus a giant supply of Baker’s Chocolate hot chocolate to warm you.  This fun event takes place on Saturday, November 30th at 7pm.

Mayor’s Enchanted Trolley Tour

Light it up! For the 24th year, the Mayor’s Enchanted Trolley Tour will continue the festive tradition of lighting holiday trees while bringing holiday spirit to children across Boston. The event is sponsored by Bank of America, and includes visits with Santa, holiday performances, tree lightings and more.

Saturday, December 7th at 1pm – Codman Square

Sunday, December 8th at 6:30p.m. – Adams Corner

Eat, Drink & Be Charitable!

Mix and mingle with friends, neighbors and the Leahy Holloran Center for a Holiday Cocktail Reception and $10,000 drawing on Wednesday, December 11th from 5:30pm-8:30pm at Landmark Public House – 772 Adams Street.  Drawing ticket includes $10,000 raffle entry, admission for 2 – 2 drink tickets and complimentary hors d’oevres.  Tickets are $100.  For more info visit here! 

Lace up your sneakers and put on your Santa hat!

Register for the Halfway to Dot Day 5K and Toy Drive! This is a family friendly run for all ages and abilities along the paths of DCR’s Pope John Paul Park in Dorchester on Saturday, December 14th at 9am. The course is certified and sanctioned by USA Track and Field – New England.  

After the race, please join us for the Mayor’s Toy Drive and breakfast at Florian Hall. All youth under 12 who donate a toy are registered at no cost. Registration for adults and teenagers is just $20.  Make sure you register in time for a long sleeve t-shirt!   You can register here!
