Lower Mills Holiday Stroll & Tree Lighting
Come and celebrate the season in Lower Mills. #shopsmall #shoplocal The Holiday Tree Lighting, part of the Mayor’s Holiday Trolley Tour, at Meetinghouse Bank at 4 PM!  Holiday Stroll will take place on Saturday, November 24th.

St. Mark’s Village Small Business Stroll
November 24th is Small Business Saturday! Start your day shopping and brunching with the old and the new in your Greater Ashmont Main Street district, north of Shepton Street (St. Mark’s Village), with stalwart businesses like Crawford DrugTasha Michelle Kloset, and The Modern Dog Boston, as well as newer offerings, like I Am Fashion men’s boutique, El Barrio Mexican Grill (Seabreeze’s same management/new name), and Caffe Zia Gianna. More participating merchants to be announced as the date approaches.

Holiday Pop Up Market at Ashmont Station and Peabody Square Tree Lighting 
Stock your pantry, buy local crafts, and celebrate the season in Peabody Square at our third annual pop-up holiday market! Holiday music will fill the air as you shop our market stands for pantry staples and holiday treasures. The market will lead directly into the Annual Peabody Square Holiday Tree Lighting, part of the Mayor’s Holiday Trolley Tour!  The fun takes place on Saturday, November 24th from 3pm-7pm!   We also heard from a reliable source that Buddy the Elf and Rudolph the Red-Nose Reindeer will be there!

Light it up! Santa Claus and his posse of merrymakers will be on hand for the Mayor’s Enchanted Trolley Tour! The Mayor’s Enchanted Trolley Tour will continue the festive tradition of lighting holiday trees while bringing holiday spirit to children across Boston. The event is sponsored by Bank of America, and includes visits with Santa, holiday performances, tree lightings and more.

Sunday, December 9th at 7 p.m. – Adams Corner

Eat, Drink & Be Charitable!
Mix and mingle with friends, neighbors and the Leahy Holloran Center for a Holiday Cocktail Reception and $10,000 drawing on Wednesday, December 5th from 5:30pm-8:30pm at Landmark Public House – 772 Adams Street.  Drawing ticket includes $10,000 raffle entry, admission for 2 – 2 drink tickets and complimentary hors d’oevres.  Tickets are $100.  For more info visit here! 

Lace up your sneakers and put on your Santa hat!
It’s the Dorchester Running Club’s fourth annual Halfway to Dot Day 5k Road Race! This fun run takes place on Saturday, December 8th at 9am!It’s a family friendly run for all ages and abilities along the paths of DCR’s Pope John Paul Park in Dorchester and is certified and sanctioned by USA Track and Field – New England.

After the race take part in the Mayor’s Toy Drive and Breakfast at Florian Hall – all youth under 12 who donate a toy are registered at no cost. Registration for adults and teenagers is just $20. All registrants will receive a long-sleeve shirt and finishers will receive a handmade, one-of-a-kind holiday ornament!
