Cutting-Edge Training Center Will Create Hundreds of Union Construction Jobs

Job-seekers Urged to Avoid Tuition Debt – Visit Pipefitters537.org to Learn More About Free Training, Industry-Leading Wages & Benefits

WHAT: Hundreds of job-seekers will be lining up to learn more about how to jumpstart their career in the union building trades at an open house unveiling Pipefitters Local 537’s state-of-the art training center and campus today.

Community members and contractors, along with Local 537 members and their families, are encouraged to come out to tour the brand new facilities, meet with instructors and current apprentices, and learn about life-changing job opportunities with the Pipefitters. 

Boston Mayor Marty Walsh will be a featured speaker and United Association General President Mark McManus will be in attendance.

Pipefitters Local 537 notes that their program is a free alternative to other costly vocational options. 

”With this new campus, we’ve more than tripled our hands-on training spaces, improving our ability to support members in every way possible,” said Business Manager Brian Kelly. “This project is a true testament to our training program, curriculum, and world-class instructional staff. We’re thrilled to be creating opportunities instead of forcing people to go into thousands of dollars of debt at a technical college.”
