Register to run!  It’s the 25th Anniversary – Charbo’s Run –   This 5 mile road race that starts at 11am from Florian Hall on Sunday, March 24th. Mark S. Charbonnier, Dorchester native and Massachusetts state trooper, was shot and killed in the line of duty on On September 2, 1994.  A road race was started in his memory back in 1995.  After a 15 year hiatus, the road race is back to celebrate the 25th anniversary of his death.  You can register here! 

Family skate night!  Olde Towne Real Estate is hosting a Family Skate Night at the Devine Rink on Saturday, March 16th from 6-9pm.  Enjoy free food, free skating, and an appearance by Pat Patriot and Blades the Bear.  There will also be a raffle for a wide screen TV!  All proceeds from the raffle will benefit the Leahy/Holloran Community Center!

Celebrate Pi(e) Day!  Wednesday, March 14th is Pi(e) Day! Celebrate with some pizza pie! Try Molinari’s in Adams Village! Try our favorite – the Bocca with Tomato Sauce, Mozzarella, Ricotta, Sopprasatta, Roasted Pepper, Garlic Confit, Fresh Oregano. Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day! Dorchester Brewing Company will be celebrating St. Patrick’s Day as the Irish intended -with a full day of drinking great beer on Saturday, March 16th from 11:30am-11pm! They’re expanding their capacity to fit everyone IN who wants IN, so plenty of room for all! With fresh beer, live music, traditional food and more! ALL DAY: Beer Release. TBD  2-5pm: Live Music from Blue Light Bandits, an independent groove rock band from Worcester.  2pm-8pm: Food from Brato Brewhouse + Kitchen. They’ll be serving up their version of Irish food!
