When the temps drop, there’s nothing better than a giant bowl of pho or ramen to warm you up. And rumor has it, Dorchester has some of the best of the best. Here are 3 hot soups you absolutely can’t miss.

Pho So 1
223 Adams St, Dorchester, MA
(617) 474-1999

Stop by Pho So1 during lunch on any weekday and the crowd will speak for itself. Think, beefy broth, aromatic herbs, and tender noodles.  Highlighted on many, “Best of” lists their Pho is nothing short of remarkable and definitely shouldn’t be missed.

Hien Vuong
1487 Dorchester Ave, Dorchester, MA
(617) 282-9791

Located by the Fields Corner T stop, Hien Vuong is a neighborhood favorite.  Our pick is the slightly unconventional “chicken noodle soup” or Pho Ga . Perfect for a sick day, or any day that you’re looking to warm up.

Neponset Cafe
400 Neponset Ave, Dorchester, MA
(617) 506-8021
New to Dorchester, this quaint spot is offering up some pretty delectable dishes.  We stopped in for the Sakurajima Ramen a spicy tonkotsu soup with pork, bean sprouts, seasoned hard boiled egg and bamboo shoots. A super tasty way to stay warm all winter!
