Eat:
If you like ramen, you’ll love this news.  Neponset Cafe has opened its doors at 400 Neponset Ave and is serving up some asian dishes in a casual and comfortable restaurant.  According to Eater Boston, the cafe serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner and features a menu of items like omelettes, miso soup, pork belly buns, spring rolls, chicken wings, rice bowls and ramen!  Yum!Also on the menu, specialty coffee drinks like matcha frappuccino, pumpkin patch latte, and cold brew iced coffee! Neponset Cafe is open 7 days a week from 6:30am to 8pm. 

Drink:
Raise your glass! It’s the 12th Annual Boston Winery Pig Roast! This festival features food, wine, music and more! There will be fresh pasta, salad, artisanal breads, and of course Chef Gianni Caruso’s porquetta, as well as a complimentary drink ticket! DJ Steve Clark will be spinning the tunes! This deliciously fun event take place on Sunday, October 7th from 12pm-4pm. Tickets are $50 and can be purchased here!

Watch:
Saturday night’s alright for a fight!Head to Yellow Door on Saturday night and watch most anticipated UFC bout of the year between Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov!  The Pay-per-view event starts are 10pm. Enjoy late night bites, fights, and drinks ’til 2am! No cover!

On Saturday, October 6th at 9am (no early birds) – plan on hitting a yard sale! And not just any yard sale but a mega yard sale made up of 14+ homes in the Adams Ashmont neighborhood! Just think of all the cool stuff you’ll find that you didn’t realize you can’t live without! Cook for a cause! It’s the 21st Annual men of Boston Cook for Women’s Health presented by Codman Square Health Center on Thursday, October 4th from 6pm-9pm. This fundraising event helps raise fund and awareness to improve women’s health in our community! Each year more than 800 supporters gather under the Gala Tent at 637 Washington St. to enjoy tasty bites from Boston restaurants, served by local celebrity male chefs from Boston’s business, political, entertainment, sports and hospitality worlds!For more information visit here!

Calling all history buffs! The Red Coats are coming! The Red Coats are coming….again! It’s the 250 Anniversary Reenactment of the British Troops in Boston! Takes place on Saturday, October 6th and Sunday, October 7th. You can check out the full schedule of events here!

Root for the home team! It’s a sports lover weekend! Thursday night at 8:20pm the Pats face the Colts. On Friday the Red Sox will play their arch rival the Yankess on Friday at 7:32p, Saturday at 8:15pm and Monday TBD. The Bruins face-off against the Senators on Monday at 1pm. Literally sit in the middle of all the action. Harp & Bard has over 10 HD TVs so there isn’t a chance that you’ll miss a single play! Great game time snacks to share too!

Head to dbar for dinner and stay for karaoke! Every Friday night beginning at 10pm, karaoke unlike no other, kicks off the weekend!

How’d ya like them apples? It’s that time of year again. The kids are back in school. The air is just crisp enough to put on your favorite sweater and the urge to head out to the country and pick apples is overwhelming.
