Eat:
Share some drinks and apps at Dorset Hall this weekend! Feast on Buffalo Chicken Nachos, Fish Tacos, Chicken Wings and more! Wash them down with a specialty cocktail like the Pineapple-tini make with Ketel One Vodka, shaken with fresh pineapple juice. Layered with a splash of Raspberry Liquor, garnished with a a pineapple wedge.

Drink:
Birthday Bash! Happy 2nd Birthday Dorchester Brewing! Fun takes place on Saturday, July 21st from 11:30am-11pm for a day long celebration with live music, donuts, pizza and more! You had us a donuts and pizza!

Knit:
Knit and chat! Grab you yard and your needles and head to the Stitch House on Thursday evenings from 5pm-8pm for social knitting! It’s a great way to meet new friend sand work on that sweater!

See:
Enjoy an afternoon of art, music, food and fun on Saturday, July 21st from 12pm-8pm at Richardson Park – right near the giant pear sculpture at columbia Road and East Cottage Street. Browse 14+ local art vendors featuring fused glass, leatherwork, painting and more! There will also be live pop, rock, and world music performances! The event is sponsored by the Dorchester Historical Society, Dorchester North Neighborhood Association, Brain Arts and Oleana Foundation.

Do:
Zookeeper Appreciation Week! Ever wondered what it takes to be a zookeeper? Visit Franklin Park Zoo and/or Stone Zoo on Saturday, July 21, to celebrate National Zookeeper Appreciation Week and find out! See some of the day-to-day activities zookeepers participate in, including feedings and trainings. and listen in on special zookeeper encounters. Guests will also have the opportunity to ask questions directly to the Zoo’s staff and discover what it’s like to work with the animals every day. For more information visit here!

Run:
Lace up those sneakers and enjoy an evening run and post run social hour at a local Dot establishment! Fun run starts at 7pm! Follow them on Facebook to find out the meet up spot! Thursday, July 19th spot is The Industry on Adams! It’s a great way to meet new people and stay in shape! You can run or walk!

Bend/Brunch:
What a perfect way to start a summer Sunday! Enjoy an hour-long yoga class at Ashmont Grill led by one of our favorite instructors Jenna Hill followed by a complimentary mimosa! Stick around for brunch featuring items like stuffed brioche french toast, train wreck omelet and the fried egg BLT! Class begins at 8:30am on Sunday, July 22nd. You can register here! Tickets are $25 and include an hour long class and one complimentary mimosa! Brunch is not included.

Cheer/Compete:
The Columbia Threadneedle Investments Boston Triathlon will feature a weekend of events on July 21st and July 22nd and all the action happens along the beaches on Day Boulevard! More than 2,000 athletes are expected to compete in the 10th anniversary of the Boston Triathlon including 2016 Olympian and two-time winner of the Escape from Alcatraz triathlon Ben Kanute, former North American Ironman Champion Angela Naeth, in addition to athletes from 8 countries and 42 states! If swimming, biking and running is not your thing, come out and show your support by cheering for the athletes competing! They love that! If you want to participate you have two options – Olympic Race – 1.5K swim, 35K bike, 10K run with a start time of 6:20am or the Sprint Race – 750m swim, 17.5K bike, 5.5K run – start time at 9:15am!
