Head to the beach with a bundle to donate to Friends of Boston’s Homeless, take a yoga class, and hang for refreshments after! This event takes place on Sunday, July 1st at 9:30am at Tenean Beach! Don’t forget your mat and water!
What is a bundle?
Just take a gallon ziplock bag and fill it with things you think someone in need might want I.e energy bars, wipes, a bottle of water or reusable cup, socks, etc…. a simple tube of toothpaste can be very meaningful to them since most only get a small dollop a day from shelters. You can get as creative as you’d like, we just ask that you do not put cash in these bundles, but a gift card is okay!
You are welcome to donate as much as you’d like, we will be collecting items at the event. Some acceptable items are, coats (it still gets cold at night), professional attire for job interviews, or just regular clothes – socks and underwear are also very helpful!
